Federal Programs
Randolph County School District uses procedures and guidelines when accepting federal funds under The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015. The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) reauthorizes the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) as the nation’s national education law and longstanding commitment to equal opportunity for all students. The purpose of Federal Programs is to provide equitable distribution of services under ESSA. Randolph County School District follows federal guidance that is outlined in Elementary and Secondary Education Act and EDGAR (Educational Department General Administrative Regulations). The district is committed to allowing all children access to a high-quality education and reach proficiency on academic standards and assessments.
