"Education...beyond all other devices of human origin, is a great equalizer of conditions of men, the balance wheel of the social machinery. It does better than to disarm the poor of their hostility toward the rich; it prevents being poor." --Horace Mann
Our vision is that public education in Georgia will provide all children an equitable and excellent education that prepares them for college, career and life. The recommendations set forth in this Vision are organized into seven system components:
Early Learning & Student Success Teaching and Learning Teaching & Learning Resources Human & Organizational Capital Governance, Leadership & Accountability Financial Resources
We believe that these recommendations, when implemented effectively, will transform public education in Georgia.
